When Erin first reached out to me, she told me the most important thing she wanted for her wedding day was for it to feel like one big dinner party with all her closest friends and family. She also told me she wanted a documentary approach to the day so that she could truly be present and let them fully soak in every moment. And that’s exactly what it ended up being.

The day started with her and her best friends getting ready together. There was so much love and support being shared in the room it was absolutely contagious. From the random squealing outburst of excitement to jumping up and down on the bed slumber party style. These girls really knew how to hype up Erin for the day to come.

Next was her first look with Luis and boy was it a tear jerker. They both burst into tears the minute he turned around to see her for the first time. It felt like we were in a movie scene. They followed up their private moment by reading their own personal vows to each other there as well surrounded by the mountains.

After some fun frolicking around in the mountain meadow with their bridal parties it was time to head back to the venue for the ceremony and make things official. Their ceremony took place at the stunning Stewart creek golf course. With a picturesque backdrop of the mountain vista.

More tears and giddiness filled the room as Erin walked in and took everyone’s breath away. My favourite part was actually directly after the ceremony when Erin and Luis got to hug all of their guests as they toasted and gathered on the lawn.

The inspo for their reception decor was Italian dinner party meets whimsical florals and edible centre pieces. And it was seriously straight out of pinterest. The toasts to the couple brought so much joy, laughter and tears again into the room and dinner was the perfect way to settle into the evening before kicking off the dances and party.
