Katie and Quinn planned their wedding day at the stunning sparrow lane. Which just so happened to be Katie’s brother and sister in law’s venue. It was the perfect backdrop for all their family and friends to celebrate. The day started with the cutest wholesome moment in the getting ready suite. Katie and her bridesmaids had a true girlhood moment singing and dancing to their fav pump up songs. Followed by Katie getting changed into her gown, assisted by her mom. She then privately read a note from her husband-to-be before heading out to see her bridesmaids and father for the first time in her gown. There was no shortage of tears and the sweetest moment shared between the girls, and of course her dad too.
The ceremony had to be my favorite part, since it was the first time Katie and Quinn saw each other on the day. It felt like slow motion as Katie walked down the aisle, as Quinn wiped a few tears away as he admired his about-to-be wife. During the signing portion of the ceremony, the couple had planned a little surprise for their moms and grandpas. They didn’t tell them beforehand but when it was time for the signing the officiant asked the moms and grandpas to head over to the table with them. They were so surprised and emotional at getting to be included in this special moment.
The ceremony wrapped up including the couple reading personalized vows to each other, and there were whoops and cheers filling the air as the Newly weds head back down the aisle.
After the ceremony they got to let loose a little with their bridal party during photos with them. There were toasts and shoulder rides and even a champagne pop. It was the perfect way to guide them into their couple photos and then back to their guests for cocktail hour. Which had the most delicious Made By Marcus ice cream being served alongside their cocktails.
During the reception Katie and Quinn were showered in love through everyone’s speeches, and got to be fully present during their dinner and really catch up with each other about the other person’s morning.
Before the dance fully kicked off, they decided to cut their cake outside in front of Sparrow lanes entrance and then we even had some time to sneak off for the perfect golden hour. The rest of the night was filled with dancing, drinks and laughter. The perfect way to wrap up an unforgettable day!
